From a young age, Rina has actively pursued art in all its forms. Her natural abilities won her acceptance into a nationally renowned school of the arts, F.H. LaGuardia in New York City, where she attended and studied fine art. She continued her pursuits until her first child, followed closely by a second, was born. At that time, she put away her paints and brushes in favor of diapers and bottles but remained interested in the arts and continued to express herself through other artistic pursuits. Photography soon became an important outlet for her creativity as she strove to capture the special memories happening in her own home. When Rina and her husband, Jon, started a pet rescue, pet photography gave another dimension to her art. Soon after, she bought her first professional camera and added to her experience, photographing friends and family members and their children, perfecting her skills, and taking her natural talent to a professional level.
